The Peugeot 908 V12 HDI is a sports-prototype racing car built by the French automobile manufacturer Peugeot. This peugeot 908 supercar has 5.5 liter diesel V12 and turbohargers aspiration has over 700hp.
The 908 name is also shared with a Peugeot concept sedan, named the 908RC, which shares the diesel V12 engine from the 908 sportscar.
The Peugeot 908 made its race debut at the opening round of the 2007 Le Mans Series season, the 1000km of Monza. The Peugeot 908 HDi hit 339 km/h on the Mulsanne Straight in 2007, which was the equal of the Audi R10 TDi.
